As I've gotten older, I have been able to travel more luxuriously than I used to. These days I never sleep on the floor of train stations in India if I can possibly avoid it. But nevertheless, things are often rather basic in the places where I work. The producer of my last movie in India told me, after I asked, that I was four hours by train from the nearest roll of toilet paper.
